As we build our presence across the state, we need all hands on deck in fighting mandates, standing up for our rights, protecting our medical freedom, and shielding our children from harmful exposures. Your service makes a BIG difference in what we can achieve here in Illinois!

On July 28, 2021 we held a screening of the documentary film:
Seeing 2020: The Censored Science of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Following, we held a post-screening dinner party with film Director Adam Mariner and the head of CHD-IL’s legal counsel team. The event was a great success and we were able to screen the film to approximately 300 people, including many outside of our CHD family!

We celebrated the official launch of our Illinois Chapter and website on Saturday, June 5, 2021. The kickoff event was a phenomenal success! Approximately 170 adults and children were in attendance (including our members as well as MANY new faces!) for food, music, fun, and social connection.

Special thanks to Karen Healer and Rachael Gage, our Fundraising Co-Chairs for helping to organize this event! Thank you Karen McDonough, CHD National Chapter Manager, for providing the beautiful centerpieces and table coverings. Thank you also to the many additional members who contributed their time and talent and food/drinks. We could not have done this without you!

Huge thanks also to musicians Sam Bottner, Rane Simons, Damien Perez, and sound tech Roman for providing a nourishing, soulful atmosphere.

We extend our deep gratitude to David Dwyer for hosting the event at his beautiful Evanston home.

David gave a special tribute to his late wife Dr. Toni Bark, a renowned wellness practitioner, dance/fitness instructor, and warrior for medical freedom. We felt her presence in spirit throughout the evening, cheering us on.

The silent auction held at the event was a major success! We are so thankful for the many community members who donated a wide variety of goods and services to the auction and sale.

The CHD IL Board Members spoke to the group, outlining our mission and initiatives in Illinois. Shown here: President Elizabeth Lennon, Treasurer David Dorn, Vice President Colleen Frayn, and Secretary Paula Voigt.
